Tag Happy – You're It!

0 Comments 01 January 2007

Happy New Year everyone! Before we get all serious about resolutions and planning, we’ll have a little fun and play along in the Happy Holidays game of tag that’s floating around the blogosphere. Denise Aday tagged me for this "5 things" meme in her I Guess the Holiday Hiatus if Over post. I’m game.

So, let’s carry the festivities into the new year. Here are five quirky, fun and/or intriguing items that maybe you won’t already know about me.

1. I bought myself a new white Volvo XC90 for Christmas. Merry Christmas to me!

2. I am a relatively newly dedicated workout fanatic. I never understood the "runner’s high" thing runner’s talked about – until now. So, when my phone rings to voice mail, maybe it’s because I’m at the club running or biking – at least an hour a day. Wow – the high is awesome.

3. My marriage license has the wrong date on it. The clergyman didn’t check the calendar and guessed – seriously. Our wedding took place on August 9 – the license says legally Brian and I were wed on August 8. Too bad we didn’t know until after all the hoopla.

4. I am an educated journalist – and some of my first gigs out of school were in agriculture journals. Now you know why I love to tell your stories and not just be a bland marketer!

5. My favorite pooch is a black Labrador puppy named Buster who roams freely on our five acres and loves a great swim in the large pond in our front yard.

And five other bloggers I would like to know more about are: Dan Janal, Stephanie Weaver, John Jantsch, Steven Van Yoder, and Carson McComas – you’re it!!
