Mission

The Results Revolution is a nationwide initiative seeking to create strong economies based on locally owned & operated small businesses. We encourage consumers to shop local, equip local independent small businesses to do effective marketing, and facilitate networking in the local business community.

What is Local?

For the purpose of this project, we define a “locally owned and operated small business” as one that is independently owned and operated by a local community member and one where the community member has full autonomy and local decision-making authority with respect to his or her business practices. Only businesses that fit this definition will be included in the business directory.

The Results Revolution management reviews all applications and may request more information from a business for the purpose of verifying local ownership. The Results Revolution reserves the right to refuse membership to any business completely at our descretion. If you have any questions about whether your business qualifies as locally owned and operated, please contact us.

The Results Revolution is not responsible for quality of goods or services rendered by businesses represented on this website or in other media produced by the Results Revolution or its partners. Any grievances regarding goods or services should be made with the business in question – how can theychange and serve you better if you don’t tell them?

• The service and its related resources are completely FREE to the locally owned small business owners that make up our group.
• This is YOUR community – your place to get sick and tired of status quo and whatever the economy throws at your and to do something about it by improving your business savvy, learning from one another how do smarter marketing, networking together, and promoting your businesses on-line, etc.
• This community will be supported by Perfect Partner organizations that wish to support the growth and success of American small business owners and encourage consumers to shop locally.
• During our first week of launch, the Shop Main Street database of registered locally owned and operated businesses has been doubling every day. Shop Local is huge nationwide, and this directory will help shoppers shop local wherever they are!
• The success of this model will be found both in the unique multi-media approach, and the founders leverage of their vast connections after a combined 18 years of business and technology consulting with small businesses across the United States.

About the Members

The Results Revolution is a community of locally owned and operated small business owners who have united under the banner of our mission statement. The Results Revolution is highly engaged group of take-action business owners working hard to grow our small locally-owned businesses through marketing education, the “Shop Main Street” business directory and lots of great networking events!

The Results Revolution is made up of…

• Business owners of locally owned and operated, independent small businesses and restaurants.
• Retail, professional service, restaurant and food service and wholesale product business categories.
• Approximately 60% female and 40% male business owners.
• Approximately 70% of them have businesses located in Southeastern United States (as of 3/1/10).
• Business owners who have at least a basic understanding, appreciation and engagement in social media.
• Business owners who have a strong determination to grow their business and their community through support of their fellow business owners.
• People who believe that supporting local businesses is about more than a location – it’s about supporting businesses nationwide who fit the category of “locally owned and operated independent small business.”
• Business owners who are HIGHLY engaged multiple times per week in our community.
• Business owners who are taking ACTION because of something they learned in the Results Revolution.

Our Media

At the Results Revolution, we’re not a motto or slogan. And we’re not a traditional media outlet peddling advertising options. We’re inexplicably a booming community of locally owned and operated, independent small business owners using a variety of methods to communicate, learn and grow our businesses through smarter marketing that informs consumers about the value and experience found in our local business and the importance of supporting locally owned and operated businesses. The Results Revolution is holistic approach to education and motivation and completely unique in the opportunity to invite sponsorship and partnering options to support this initiative so critical to the success and growth of American small business owners.

Our Founders

The Results Revolution was founded by small business marketing consultants Marianna and Andy Chapman. This project is the result of their passion to help locally owned and operated, independent small business owners succeed.
